Smoking is one of the most dangerous habits present in today’s society. Hundreds of thousands of people suffer from terrible diseases and have a hard time leading a healthy existence because of this vice. Few remedies, however, can be quite as effective as Orlando acupuncture. Deciding to quit smoking is, indeed, an extremely difficult task itself (needless to mention the whole process it involves), but with the help of acupuncture Orlando, it may be even easier than it seems.

In dozens of countries all over the globe, a huge amount of money is being spent each year in order to sustain smoking cessation programs. In the U.S. alone, this figure reaches a few million dollars, especially because the vast majority of smokers, unaware of the benefits of Orlando acupuncture, find it extremely difficult to quit. Fighting a habit as addictive as this one is quite a hassle, and many return to smoking because the battle is far too exhausting. The additional leverage that smokers need, however, can be provided successfully by acupuncture Orlando, and if combined with the right mentality, it can surpass the effectiveness of many other programs.

Several articles and surveys recently publishes in health magazines have proven the indubitable beneficial effect that Orlando acupuncture has when it comes to assisting patients that want to escape this terrible vice. The process is effective and essentially lacks any complications and side effects. Needles of various shapes and sizes (small enough, though, as not to inflict pain on patients) are carefully inserted into specific points onto the body. The meridians on which these points can be found are those relating to problem areas of the organism.

In the case of acupuncture Orlando destined for smokers, these points are connected with the mouth, the lungs and the respiratory system in general, as well as particular areas of the brain that generate a patient’s yearning to smoke. A recent study regarding this issue showed that even long time smokers (for which quitting is obviously the most difficult) have high chances of leaving cigarettes behind thanks to acupuncture Orlando.

The way Orlando acupuncture can help decrease or abolish smoking habits completely from a person’s life has been demonstrated through studies. Participants have talked about a lower desire to smoke, but scientists didn’t just take their word for it – after a period of time, their blood was tested, and indeed, tobacco-related substances were found in a smaller or null quantity. Full effectiveness only requires two sessions for three weeks in a row, so letting the opportunity pass would truly be a pity.
Orlando acupuncture has been confirmed to help patients immensely in quitting smoking. By concentrating on specific points on the body, acupuncture Orlando fights smoking and its effects, but it also reduces the craving for cigarettes. We invite you to visit our website and discover more about these life-changing treatments!

For more than 2,000 years now, acupuncture has been used by the Chinese where it originated from. Today, you will find that this is not only one of the oldest but one of the most commonly used medical procedures in the world. But although this treatment has been used for more than 2,000 years by the Chinese, it did not reach the Western world until the early 1970’s.

Acupuncture requires the insertion of small, thin but solid metal needles into particular areas of a person’s body. Then once the needles they will be manipulated either by the hands of the person carrying out the treatment (the acupuncturist) or through the use of electrical stimulation.

If you are considering using acupuncture to treat a particular health condition, it is vital that you seek the services of a reputable and well-qualified acupuncture doctor or acupuncturist. If you do not then they may actually cause you more pain rather than helping to relieve the condition from which you are suffering. Just by inserting the needles incorrectly or into the wrong part of the body can actually prove totally ineffective. So you need to spend some time finding the right person to carry out your acupuncture treatment and below we offer some steps to help you do so.

Step 1 - It is crucial that you first get hold of list of all those who are qualified to carry out this form of treatment who are located close to where you live. If you cannot find them in your local telephone directory, then go online and search for such people. There are plenty of websites online that can provide you with the information that you require.

Step 2 - After looking through the list that you have got, you should select three or four names from it and give them a call. Find out if they provide any kind of free consultation and if so consider taking up their offer. By doing this you will get a much better idea of their capabilities and whether you feel comfortable with them or not.

Step 3 - It is important you find out from each of the people you are considering going to for acupuncture treatment that you know what qualifications they have. Ideally you should be looking for one who has either a degree in Chinese Medicine or has trained and graduated as a medical acupuncturist. Plus you are also looking for one who has gained their licensure exam.

Step 4 - As well as knowing what training and qualifications they have, it is a good idea to find out how much experience they have. Ideally look for an acupuncture doctor or practitioner who has specific experience of treating the kind of medical condition that you have. Doing this will ensure that you actually gain the full benefits of the treatment being provided to you.

Above we have provided you with a number of steps that will help you when it comes to finding the right person to treat your medical condition using acupuncture. It is vital however that you take some time and compare each person to ensure that you will get the best treatment possible.

Acupuncture is one of the oldest forms of medicine - dating back to around 8,000 years ago in ancient China. Acupuncture is the art of inserting tiny needles into specific places on the body and can cure many different ailments including asthma, insomnia and high blood pressure. It is believed that acupuncture can successfully treat over 40 different common health problems - but can it treat depression?

Depression is the most common emotional condition in the United States - affecting, to some degree, an estimated 11 million people every year. Depression is more common in women, affecting around 20% of women as opposed to around 10% of men - although men are more inclined to commit suicide when depressed. The illness costs an estimated $40 billion a year in charges for treatment and lost productivity.

Research suggests that acupuncture can help to treat depression - although there is little firm evidence to date. One major study was undertaken by the National Institute of Health in 1998 - the study determined that sufferers from depression who were treated with acupuncture enjoyed a 40% reduction in symptoms. Other studies have had similar results - those treated with acupuncture were more likely to be cured than those treated with traditional medication or therapy.

According to Chinese wisdom, a person’s body and mind are both part of the same system. Acupuncture treats both the body and the mind at the same time, rather than separating the two. The purpose of acupuncture treatment is to try to balance the body’s life energy, by the skillful placement of the needles. The concept of the life energy is important to our overall sense of well being - a person with a reduced flow of life energy will tend to suffer from stress or depression.

Acupuncture is effective as it tends to work on a person’s general health, rather than treating a specific disease or ailment. It’s also considered to be a natural remedy, so it is recommended for its lack of side effects, rather than medication. Medications can effectively treat depression but often have side effects and can introduce toxins into the body. Most practitioners recommend acupuncture along with therapy to treat depression or anxiety.

Acupuncture supposedly helps treat depression by unblocking the body’s clogged up lines of energy - or meridians. Once the energy lines are unblocked by placing the needles into the correct point on the body, the energy can flow through the body freely and whatever negative symptoms are in the body will then be removed.

It’s likely that acupuncture is effective in treating depression because it helps to stimulate the body’s central nervous system and increases the production of naturally occurring chemicals. These chemicals, which include enkephalins and endorphins, are partly responsible for a person’s feeling of well being.

Acupuncture has several benefits when it comes to treating depression as well as other conditions. There are no side effects and no danger of addiction. Most practitioners also advocate exercise, a healthy diet and lifestyle along with the acupuncture treatment. Acupuncture also helps a person to sleep better, and reduces muscle tension and pain.

Also, being treated for depression with acupuncture is fast - positive results can typically be achieved by just several sessions over several weeks rather than a course of antidepressant drugs which may take several months.

Many people state that they feel better and have more energy after just the first treatment. And as acupuncture tends to treat the actual root cause of depression - there’s a good chance that the treatment may prevent a person from suffering from depression in the future. Those who have been treated for depression by acupuncture usually state that they maintain a feeling of well being after the treatment.

Most people - even those who have a needle phobia - tend to not be too bothered by the needles. The needles used in acupuncture are extremely fine and cause virtually no pain when being used - there may be a slight feeling of discomfort or pressure, when being treated with needles. Many people claim to experience a warm comforting feeling when the needles are inserted. Acupuncture needles are always sterilized and procedures are completely safe.

Research has also been done on the effects of electro-acupuncture. As the name suggests, this technique involves passing a very small electrical current through acupuncture needles. Initial results indicate that those who undergo this technique also benefit from a general feeling of well being and invigoration.

The techniques and the benefits of acupuncture are still a mystery to many people - to the uninitiated, it isn’t considered real medicine. However, acupuncture is becoming more and more acceptable - there are an estimated 9,000 practitioners throughout the US and around 15 million Americans have now benefited from this ancient technique.

The acupuncture process is safe to carry out if it’s done by a certified & expert acupuncturist. Acupuncture therapists now days are become ordinary and you should be able to have a discussion to him or her about your condition and any specific questions or queries you might have in tour mind. The equipment is safe and clean. The needles used are pre sterilized and disposable. Thus they are safe to use and unlikely to transmit disease.

A trained acupuncturist can also advise you on your other conditions where acupuncture may be of use and you should be able to discuss your particular case and concerns with him or her. Most, of not all, practitioners will be happy to discuss your requirements with them and they will not wish for you to part with any money until you are satisfied as to the process.

Acupuncture is an alternative medical treatment that is thousands of years old. Although, China is probably best known for the practice, it is practiced in societies around the World. Even the United States has a growing population of qualified Acupuncturist’s; and over a dozen acupuncture schools and medical schools teaching the practice.

Acupuncture is known to treat a variety of ailments like respiratory ailments, eye and mouth, gastro-intestinal, neurological and muscular disorders, headaches, migraine and back pain. Acupuncture is also used to stop smoking, lose weight, lower blood pressure, relieve constipation, anxiety, insomnia, allergies, asthma, acne, alleviate skin disorders; treat Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis and Rumatoid arthritis, joint pain, menstrual cramps, irregular periods, and infertility. A Doctor Isadore Rosenfeld, a cardiologist, witnessed in 1978 an open heart surgery where the patient was anaesthetized with acupuncture.

Acupuncture is a treatment that uses needles, about the diameter of a human hair, that are inserted into specific points where the body’s energy flows. The process is practically painless. At worst it may feel like an insect bite. For many people it is enjoyable. There are no side effects like one might experience with drugs.

However, for those that are afraid of needles, a new procedure is available, called Electro-acupuncture; also know as Micro-current stimulation .Micro-current stimulation, is faster, easier, cheaper, safer and you can even do-it-yourself.

Nobody can predict the changes that will occur from acupuncture, nor can they predict for sure what drugs will do for you. The idea though is to stimulate blood flow; and that the body will do what it needs to do to heal itself.

Acupuncture works. If it didn’t, it would not have been practiced for thousands of years. You think?
